Crockpot with Little Dipper ReviewOn October 27, 2017 by 101administrativeprofessionalsday
The Crock Pot with Little Dipper is a great option for those looking for that little bit extra. If you’re often having company over or even if you just have a big family, then the little dipper could be the right Crock Pot for you.
For a long time now, Crock Pot have paved the way in terms of crock pots/slow cookers. So much so, that the brand name precedes itself and people confuse the two terms. To clarify, a Crock Pot (the trademarked name) is a type of crock pot (uncapitlized) or slow cooker. Whilst some people call them crock pots, more and more people are calling them slow cookers nowadays. This is due to other companies introducing their own brand of slow cooker, and not being able to use the trademarked Crock Pot name on their brand.
One thing we don know about Crock Pot, though, is that their brand is reputable and has a long history of reliability. But what about the little dipper? Can it match its other competitors?
- The stoneware used in the crock pot is actually pretty stylish
- Dishwasher safe lids and the stoneware itself is also dishwasher safe
- The automatic Shifts to Warm Setting is great as it ensures your food will stay hot
Features of the product
This Crock Pot is almost completely programmable, which will hopefully make your life that little bit easier. Firstly, it has three controls; high, low and warm. Warm is ideal if you don’t want to eat your food cold. This Crock Pot will automatically shift to warm whenever it has finished cooking, which means that you will never have to arrive home to a cold meal. You can program the timer to cook for anywhere between 30 minutes and 20 hours, so you can set this slow cooker to work whilst you’re out at work or even whilst you sleep (if you enjoy hot food in the morning).
Tight lids for a secure top
The tight fit lid will ensure that you never need to worry about spillages when you are transporting your Crock Pot from one position to another. We all know there’s nothing worse than waiting 12 hours for a Crock Pot to cook and then losing some of it on your kitchen floor!
Added little dipper
Whilst you might not think that you would ever use the little dipper, it comes in much handier than you would think. In fact, if you use sauces and extras often, then you will wonder how you lived without the little dipper in your life!
It performs well
As with everything that Crock Pot produce, this one will do everything that you ask of it (and maybe more). There aren’t many other crock pots or slow cookers that can rival this one in terms of reliability. It’s one of Crock Pots finest offerings, so that in itself says a lot.
Ideal for big families
With the addition of the little dipper, this Crock Pot is ideal for anyone who likes to serve their food up directly on the table. The stoneware base itself is relatively attractive, meaning that you don’t need to worry about transferring your food into a different pot to bring it to the table. With your little dipper full of accompaniments, your family are sure to fall in love with the Crock Pot almost as much as you will.
Can’t set the Crock Pot on timer
With other Crock Pots and slow cookers, you can set the timer for the appliance to start at some point in the future. This is so that you can optimal cooking time and set it so that your food is ready for a specific time Unfortunately, this Crock Pot can;t do that. Though it does have the shift to warm function, which almost makes up for it.
There’s no insert for the little dipper
Unfortunately for the person who has to clean up after dinner, there is no removable insert for the little dipper. This does make it slightly difficult to clean, though it isn’t too much of an issue.
If you’re a busy person that doesn’t have all the time in the world to cook their food, then this could be one of the best purchases that you will make. Picture the image; you spend 10 minutes in the morning chopping some veggies, then you whack it into the Crock Pot with some beef. You return from work 10 hours later and voila! You’ve got yourself a delicious meal for all the family.
