Features of the product
Programmable Switch to warm
It seems like this is one of the most wanted settings to have in a slow cooker nowadays, and with pretty good reason. It certainly saves people from having to worry about their food getting cold if they aren’t their when it is finished cooking. Whilst there are other things that are necessary from a programmable slow cooker, this function is likely the most useful.
1 extra quart for those leftovers
With most slow cookers and Crock Pots being around 6 quarts, it’s nice to see one of the best selling slow cookers being 7 quarts as opposed to six. It shows how much the nation loves leftovers, doesn’t it?
Easy to read LCD display
If you’re looking for something that is extremely simple, then look no further. This is a fantastic option, as the LCD screen is extremely easy to see. The panel is very easy to use too, so if anyone in your family isn’t technically gifted, then this is for them.
Whilst there is nothing too inspiring about cooking food in a slow cooker, it is sort of the unnoticed marvel within the kitchen. By this, we mean that it can cook you a delicious with little to no effort. This slow cooker has all the functions of one of the best slow cookers that we’ve seen.
Ideal for big families
Due to the extra quart, that makes this slow cooker ideal for larger families. If you’re often cooking large joints of meat or birds, then this would be a marvellous choice for you and your larger family.
It’s not the most attractive
Whilst function wise it is an amazing machine, the design is leaving quite a bit to be desired. There are other slow cookers that are far more attractive. If that doesn’t matter to you, then don’t worry about it.
The shell isn’t of the highest quality
As stated above, the functions of the machine are fantastic. But the shell is, honestly, a little lacklustre. It doesn’t make a difference to the cooking of the food, however.
If you are looking for a solid slow cooker that isn’t going to break after a few weeks use, then this would be a fantastic option for you. Whilst Gourmia may not hold the prestige of some other brands, they have a good warranty with this one as they are confident in their product. And so are we.
